Keeping it Short

It will soon be two months since WFH mandate was put in place by Mr Avi employer. By now Mr Avi should have figured out an optimal schedule of work hours that would  maximize work efficiency and productivity, thereby allowing for more time to spend quality time with family and kids and at the same time work on activities that offer significant joy (i.e., writing this blog).

Unfortunately, it seems the optimization is working in reverse. More and more of Mr Avi day hours are filling up with work related agenda. Meetings tend to last longer,  work extend into wee hours of the day, writing code/running experiments, performing data analysis, writing papers, documenting work, keeping team motivated and engaged etc. etc. seem to keep Mr Avi glued to his home office for time bordering on unhealthy!

As a result for the past one week, Mr Avi is making a conscious effort to minimize his screen time! As such, instead of work, this blog has taken a back seat. For this week therefore, there will be no musings on markets or Covid and Mr Avi analysis of Bershire meeting (that will have to wait another week). Rather I will keep the post short and just  list some topics on my mind that I will be writing about for the next month and as usual summarize interesting material that came across my attention in the past week.
