At the time of this writing, it is already known around the world that — Charlie Munger, long-time Buffett partner and legendary investor is dead!

I wanted to commemorate today as a significant and bittersweet moment in the life of an investor like myself, whose journey has been profoundly enriched by the teachings and wisdom of Charlie Munger.

Charlie was a remarkable individual, known for his extensive knowledge, worldly wisdom and wit, a person with sharpest business mind to live. He helped Buffett shape Berkshire Hathaway to become the colossal entity that it is today, in the process becoming extremely rich, not because he aimed to become one, rather because he aimed to always remain independent!

In his own words, “We managed to be a bit less foolish than most and a tad less irrational than most, and that truly made a difference for us.” Charlie Munger’s legacy as a sage in the world of investing and his remarkable insights will forever remain a guiding light for aspiring investors and business minds worldwide.
